My husband and I really like Limestone and Ivy for both shoes and clothing. We have always had attentive, but not pushy or hovering, service. When we tell her what we are looking for, Patricia very quickly finds awesome items in the right size. I am delighted at how well she remembers our preferences - even pointing out the Canadian brands. We have found, without exception, the owner and staff to be helpful and friendly. Recently, upon hearing that we were buying clothing for a trip to Sweden, the owner gave us hints on tourist attractions and even wrote them down so we could look them up on line.
I love this store. They carry tons of quality brand names, as well as a few others Canadian content included I hadn't heard of previously but am glad I did i.e. Miik, cutloose. If you just want to browse they don't bother you, however if you need help they're there for you. They have great promotions; on my second visit I was informed of the fact that the racks of women's summer clothing I was interested in, running almost the entire length of the store were all half price. I returned several more times and thanks to the honest feedback I received from the staff after trying on half the merchandise in the store and asking for their opinion I've received many compliments on the outfits I purchased. One of the most versatile items I bought was a finely knit shrug; I was grief stricken when I managed to put a hole in via the hook and eye on my dress it the first time I wore it. On my next visit I told one of the Patricia's I believe there are two, they're both totally awesome and I really hope I got the name correct who work there; she told me exactly how to fix it even wrote it down and it's as good as new. I'm not exaggerating this time when I say this is one of, if not "the best" place to shop for clothing and shoes in Brockville.
Awesome customer service. Very knowledgeable about the boots being bought and she welcomed our puppy into the shop!
Good selection and friendly owners. They sell viking and Birkenstock sandals as well as a selection of Under Armour apparel and bags.
To the above people who state customer service is poor.. I say.. give it another shot.. They are sometimes busy but always friendly.. The owner knows a lot about fit and will chat about anything.. Very friendly people... Excellent service and quality product... Cheapest Birks anywhere... it is an amazing store with surprising prices and selection for a small town store. Sometimes you have to look like you want to be approached.. Some people find it puts them off..makes them feel pressured. I drive from kingston to shop here!
