Cute place. A touch of Britain First time stopping on our way to Kingston. GF options, homade food . Yum
Had to wait 30 mins only to be told after waiting all that time, that they had no potatoes. It was noon. That was half of the menu gone. The tea was ok but could have made it better at home. There was not a lot of room, the tables are awkward, it was an old sewing table and rickety chairs.
Quaint and Cosie! Great coffee and tea. Breakfast was excellent!
We have been to Cosies several times since they opened. Service is often slow but with a smile and the food was great so we keptcoming back. Our last visit was not as pleasant. It was a busy weekday mid-morning but we found a table for the two of us. The server only said 2? (No greeting), tossed menus on the table, and walked away. And never came back. We waited for nearly 20 minutes while she took orders and served tables that came in after us and - after trying and failing to get her attention - we left and went to Jons. A very disappointing visit.
Quality breakfast restaurant. Prices are good. Little longer wait time compared to an average breakfast place but once you get the food youll understand .
