Absolutely amazing fish and chips. Took it down to the park near the water for a picnic. Shrimp was so perfectly cooked, I was amazed. Haddock is the best choice for the fish, skip the clams, they were ok, but couldn't really tell them from the fries. Also -malt vinegar us a must on the fries and ketchup is correct for the haddock (shrimp gets cocktail sauce).
Amazing batter! Big pieces of fish. Vegetarian options (try the fried mushrooms). Very reasonable prices and huge portions. Its hard to stop myself from going back every week! Wonderful friendly owners.
Fantastic local fish and chips place! Super friendly, good prices, tasty fish - and wrapped up in newspaper like good fish and chips should be. A favourite in our family when it's takeout night .
Visited from Boston where we have our fair share our Cod and Haddock and this place had delicious Fish! We got 3 pieces of haddock and 3 pieces of cod for our family of 4. Needless to say even the crumbs were gone at the end of our fish feast! The batter was light yet crunch and the haddock especially was tender sweet and delicious - and i don't usually like fish. The owners were very helpful and friendly and our fish was cooked right in front of us in a place that was clean enough to eat right off the countertops. This place is a gem for sure!
Amazing!! Being a Brit I know a thing or two about fish and chips. We had the family meal with 6 fish. It was cooked fresh, fluffy and crispy. Extra points for wrapping it in newspaper! This is the place to go!Thank you!
