The store was busy as it is a holiday weekend. The cashier worked quickly to get my order through. She seemed tired. The shelves were very very messy. The store has removed the benches throughout the store to make room for cardboard displays. As I have trouble walking I use the benches every time I shop. This store could use one bench at each intersection/corner. In Brockville there are a lot of seniors and people who need to rest while shopping. This would be a great help to myself and many others. Thank you.
Good prices. Usually very clean. Convenient with hair stylist, Tim Hortons, McDonald's, eye wear, etc right in store. Good selection. Pretty decent electronics department. Most times, I've found exactly what I was looking for. Worth the drive from Cardinal once in a while!
Dont buy the chicken because the put water in them to upsize the chicken breast. Everything else is good though besides the fact that the washrooms are out of order often. Prices on things are average or lower. My experience their has been a good one.
Recent changes to checkouts lose my business. Gone are the express lanes, gone are 2/3rd cashier checkouts. Replaced by self checkouts. Not great when you have a full basket with kids. On a Sunday 2 checkouts with at least 6 management staring at us while we waited. Took over 20 minutes waiting. Still staring at us. Think of all the part time cashiers let go. Sorry Walmart, too many choices. I will go next door and pay more to get someone to service me. For deals, Giant Tiger, the newly renovated Food Basics are options. You've lost my business. In $, that's $300 per week or about $15000 a year.
Didnt likes the service at all. The prices on shelfs are wrong. I was called out at the counter, as if i was lying.
